Karaoke; American Aquarium; Laundry

That's basically my goal for the weekend. Karaoke at Zachary's tonight. American Aquarium at the Princess Saturday night. Laundry on Sunday.

I caught American Aquarium last night at Dave's in Starkville. New drummer. New songs. New pedal steel (they're no touring with 6 guys instead of 5). And, of course, new stories. Because that's what you get when you tour as much as these guys do, a lot of fucking stories. For sure stop by Saturday night to catch these guys...it's not only cheaper than a movie, it's more entertaining, too.

There's a few acts that come through the Princess that are on the cusp of being much, much bigger. American Aquarium is one of those acts.

Slow weekend...

Missed the festival out at Waverly Waters. Rain scared me off. Plus I'm not much of a festival guy. Jazz Fest was awful the couple of times I went. Really not my thing.

Karaoke last night was incredibly slow. Combining the holiday weekend with rain just made it even slower than holidays normally are. Oh well, everyone got to sing a bunch. D.T. really kicks ass at Evanescence. Made groceries today, mostly I needed to stock up on Lemonade, Limeade, and Orange Juice. Delicious.

New streaming karaoke -- LIVE!

Mogulus, my new streaming video provider for karaoke shows, has changed its name to LiveStream. Service has been excellent, I like all the new features, the new embedded player is great. Supposedly there's also a new desktop application for it that's coming soon for OS X so I won't have to run it in a browser window. I've updated the blog so that it's just always here.
